Marc Neilon BA(Hons) FCA
With over 30 years experience advising owner managed businesses, I have helped to nurture a flourishing practice with an outstanding team of people. The Investors in People Recognition Panel were gracious to say “for a small organisation, Jamesons are one of the most impressive I have ever read about”. It’s a great career that brings variety and daily challenges. That said it isn’t all about being at the office and I try to balance work with my wonderful family, my passion for both classic and sports cars and European driving holidays.
Anita Lyon ACA FCCA
I qualified in 1997 and have worked in practice for a long time! Having said this I still enjoy my job and the challenges it brings – no day is the same. I love meeting with clients old and new to discuss ways in which we can help them grow and develop their businesses. Basically I like meeting people and talking!
Married to a builder I have a good working knowledge of the construction industry and in a former life I worked in the hospitality industry so this industry is also close to my heart.
In addition; I am part of the team that organise the annual West Oxfordshire Business Awards and also run the Buttercross club - a monthly networking lunch club.
In the next eighteen months both my children are getting married so I seem to now also be working as a part-time wedding organiser. In my spare time I like to blow the cobwebs away with a run, enjoy cooking and reading and share an allotment with my daughter. We love to travel and have, over the last few years, had some exciting holidays in India, Borneo and South America but we still have a long wish list of places to visit. However I love skiing and always make sure I get away for at least one ski trip a year.

I have been with Jamesons since September 1999 after joining the firm as a trainee straight from school. Over the years my role within the Jamesons team has developed and I have been a director of the firm since April 2011.
The main thing I have enjoyed over the years is building relationships with the clients and helping them grow their businesses.
Away from work, I have two children, a boy and girl called Rory and Ellie. My passion is sport and I really do enjoy every sport which I am sure the team in the office can testify to with my endless chat about the sport at the weekend.
Age has caught up with me, so nowadays it is more watching sport than playing! I coach my son’s football team at Bure Park Juniors and despite regretting it at the time; I am enjoying it more and more each week and have now obtained my FA Level 1 coaching badge. Last but not least, I am a Liverpool FC supporter!
